素食與心理健康研究進展

摘要: 心理障礙負擔的持續(xù)增加,對全球健康、社會和經(jīng)濟產(chǎn)生重大影響,近年來飲食和心理健康之間的關聯(lián)受到越來越多的關注。作為一種世界范圍內(nèi)廣泛流行的飲食模式,目前探究素食對心理健康關聯(lián)的研究結果愈發(fā)矛盾。研究者對相關文獻進行回顧,綜述共納入23項研究(18項橫斷面研究、3項前瞻性隊列研究、2項隨機對照試驗)。10項研究表明了素食對抑郁、焦慮等心理障礙和情緒改善有積極作用,6項研究認為素食與心理健康問題的發(fā)生風險增加有關,4項研究表明兩者沒有關聯(lián)。目前的研究依然存在較大異質(zhì)性,關于素食與心理健康關聯(lián)的研究在方法的嚴謹性、解釋的有效性和結果的可信度方面具有很大差異,需要更多縱向和干預研究,探究兩者更深層次的聯(lián)系。

Abstract: The sustained increase in the burden of mental disorders has significant implications for global health, social, and economic domains. In recent years, there has been growing attention to the association between diet and mental health. As a widely prevalent dietary pattern globally, current investigations into the association between vegetarianism and mental health yield increasingly contradictory results. Researchers conducted a comprehensive review of relevant literature, encompassing a total of 23 studies (18 cross-sectional studies, 3 prospective cohort studies, and 2 randomized controlled trials). Ten studies indicated a positive effect of vegetarianism on improving conditions such as depression, anxiety, and overall mood enhancement. Conversely, six studies suggested an increased risk of mental health problems associated with vegetarianism, while four studies found no significant correlation between the two factors. Present research still exhibits considerable heterogeneity, with substantial disparities in the methodological rigor, interpretative validity, and result credibility concerning the relationship between vegetarianism and mental disorders. Further longitudinal and intervention studies are warranted to delve deeper into the intricate connection between these variables.
