Nutritional Therapy

Here at Plainfield Health Care Center we understand that proper nutrition is vital to the recovery and healing process. Our Medical Nutritional therapy services work with each patient to ensure that their dietary needs are being met with quality, nutritional, great tasting food.  

We have registered dietitians on staff that provide customized recommendations and interventions based on current evidence-based practices– these practices are coordinated with the nursing and medical staff to ensure that high-quality care is being given to each and every patient.   

Our services include a nutrition assessment, monitoring food intake, diabetic education, elimination diets, heart healthy, daily menu selections, and feeding tubes/PEG tube nutrition.
