A hobby I love that I’d like to talk about is collecting stamps.

我想講述的一個我喜歡的愛好是集郵。

I started to feel interested in it when I was a kid in primary school. So, it’s been almost a decade. I remember I had an art class in grade 5, and our teacher organized an activity to appreciate some stamps from home and abroad. Also, he encouraged us to bring some to the classroom if we had any.

我是在我上小學的時候開始對它感興趣的。所以，差不多有十年時間了。我記得我當時上五年級的時候，我們的老師組織了一個活動，讓我們欣賞來自五湖四海的郵票。同時，他也鼓勵我們有郵票的同學帶一些來教室。

There was a classmate of mine who was a die-hard fan of stamps, and he brought several booklets that contained lots of stamps in various designs. You know, this article is from Laokaoya website, the moment I saw those aesthetically made little things, I was quite fascinated by them. Some of them were exotic to me as they are from countries like Russia and Spain but really broadened my eyes. Since then, I began to collect some stamps whenever it was possible for me.

當時有一位同學是郵票的狂熱愛好者，他來了幾個冊子的郵票，里面有特別多不同設計樣式的郵票。我看到這些制作精美的小東西市，就對它們著迷了。一些來自諸如俄羅斯和西班牙等國的郵票對我來說是非常陌生的，但是真的開了我的眼界。從那時起，不管什么時候，只要有可能，我就會搜集一些郵票。

I think the main reason why I am quite into it is that I can always learn something from the stamps I collected such as the unknown piece of history attached to them. Also, partly because they are not just used stamps but are also truly art pieces that allow me to appreciate the beauty of the design.

我認為我很喜歡集郵的主要原因是我總是可以在這些收集到郵票中學習到東西，例如它們所牽涉的一段不為人知的歷史。另外，部分原因是因為這些郵票不僅僅是用過的郵票而已，它們是真真正正的藝術品，能夠讓我欣賞到設計之美。
