M1 Our Body and Healthy Habits 說課稿
Teaching aims:
Make the Ss understand the healthy habits and know how use it to make their own sentences, learn more about the healthy proverbs of some foreign countries.
Help the students to improve their speaking ability.
Step1 lead in first of all, say hello to everyone, then I’ll show some picture about bad habits. Such as a man who gets drunk, people who have no breakfast, people who drink coffee in the evening. Trough these picture, let students know clearly what are really bad habits. Tell the bad habits will bring bad influences.
Step2 new words study&do a survey This step apply some traditional teaching mode, teach new words in order to make students understand our class fully. I’ll put new words into some sentences, use situational language teaching to stimulate the desire of students. Then do a survey about students’ health, invite some students to do reports about their health.
Step3 healthy habits&proverbs after they’ve learnt, they already know the importance of heath. So this step to give students some healthy habit in daily life, then give some proverbs in western countries. Let themselves guess the meaning, it can develop their ability ,they can talk freely in English learning.
Homework Write two more sentences about your diet or healthy habits Think of any Chinese proverbs connected with health, try your best to translate them into English. Module5 說課稿
Teaching aims:
To learn about some vocabulary and knowledge related to science and experiments
To know about some metals and get to know their main uses in our lives
To raise students’ interests in science and form the rigorous scientific attitude.
Step1 lead in At first ask the students some questions . ask the students to discuss them in groups:
1.Are you interested in doing scientific experiments?
2.Suppose you want to do a chemical experiment about some metals, do you think it is necessary to know about how they react with other substances?
3. In order to carry out an experiment successfully, what should you prepare for it?
This step is to warm up the students and raise their interests to speak English in class. Because all these questions are very close to the students’ daily life and studying
Step2 pre-study Since they are interested in doing scientific experiments, I’ll show some pictures about some famous scientists, at the same time, invite some students to guess them, I’ll add some necessary knowledge about them, then do a practice, let the students to classify them in their special field. This step is employed to create a good chance for students’ learning and improving more knowledge about science.
Step3 new words study use the essential element oxygen to lead in this new part. Tell students there are other elements in our world. Then invite a student to recite the periodic table of element. At last teach the new words and their basic chemistry.
Homework recite the new words, learn anther element by themselves .
