在Advanced Materials、JACS、Biomaterials等國際期刊發(fā)表論文250余篇，受邀為Chemical Reviews、Accounts of Chemical Research、 Chemical Society Reviews、Progress in Polymer Science、Progress in Materials Science期刊撰寫綜述論文多篇。申請/授權(quán)發(fā)明專利60余項，多項專利技術(shù)成功落地產(chǎn)業(yè)化，并作價入股成立多家公司。主持國家重點研發(fā)計劃、國家自然科學基金重點項目等項目15余項。兼任中國人民***總醫(yī)院客座教授，國際期刊Biomaterials Science副主編。2012年入選萬人計劃青年拔尖人才；2013年獲得“國家杰出青年科學基金”資助（結(jié)題為特優(yōu)）；2014年獲得“長江學者獎勵計劃特聘教授”；2018年入選北京高校卓越青年科學家計劃；2021年獲批科技部創(chuàng)新人才推進計劃重點領(lǐng)域創(chuàng)新團隊（生命健康材料創(chuàng)新團隊）和萬人計劃科技創(chuàng)新領(lǐng)軍人才。
